Tech Spech Tuesday 5/17/2011

So does anyone else like how I spelled "Spech?"  I do.  It matches "Tech."


Just a couple quick things I've learned this week in iPhone game dev.  First, make sure that you have properly sized images.  Scaling images at runtime is a BAD idea.  Second, make good use of the three r's.  Reduce, reuse, and recycle.  Scale it down.  Focus your concept to its simplest, most straight forward core.  Three, keep your code readable.  For me that involves a lot of text art header things on my methods.  It keeps me from getting lost.
