Busy, Busy, Busy

Sorry for the lack of post.  I've been trying really hard just to survive the semester.  Now that the semester is over, however, I've been plodding away at Objective-C.

The end goal in learning Objective-C was to make a Classic-Pokemon-Style game.  Step one was to create the world.  In order to simplify that process I decided to make a map editor first.  Here's a quick screen shot of the rough-around-the-edges map editor in progress.

I've almost got it saving and loading files.  The next step is going to be the clean up to make everything look nice.  After that comes the game itself (with no real objectives besides walking).  When all of that is complete, then comes the cool doodads, buildings, and NPC's.  Whew.... that's going to be alot of work.

Fun fact of the day:  How do you eat an elephant?  One bite at a time.

Second fun fact:  If you want to learn Cocoa leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer your questions.

Third and final fun fact: I am documenting this whole thing so that I can tutorialize this for whomever wishes to learn.
